Biography

Lina Bou (b. 1988, Dalarna, Sweden) is an artist and cook working across painting and edible mediums. Based in France since 2012, her practice unfolds through visual artworks, performative dining, and commissioned collaborations developed internationally.

With over a decade of experience across visual and culinary disciplines, her work is grounded in material research, craftsmanship, and close observation. Drawing from natural environments and cultural contexts, she approaches paint and food as parallel materials, explored through texture, gesture, and composition.

Alongside her primary practice, she develops works in wool as part of her ongoing material exploration.

Her projects range from singular artworks and exhibitions to performative formats and site-specific commissions.

Lina Bou is the founder of Culinate Collective, a collective creative culinary project developing workshop-based formats, and Ronia Terra, an edition-based project focused on printed works and cyclical publications.
