CULINARY


Lina Bou works with food as an artistic medium, creating edible installations, site-specific compositions, and immersive dining formats across commissioned and collaborative contexts. Her culinary practice is part of a wider artistic language that spans painting, textile, and the design of shared experiences.

Author of The Good Food Good Mood Cookbook (2018) and Table Stories (2026), and working in food and art since 2012, she brings together intuition and craft, with a close attention to seasonality, form, and the sensory life of each gathering. Each project is often accompanied by hand-drawn menus and visual elements made specifically for the occasion.

Edible Installations


Edible compositions and sculptural works in which ingredients function as structure, surface, and gesture. Developed within collaborative and commissioned contexts, each piece is shaped by seasonality, texture, and color. Projects range from intimate objects to site-specific installations.

 
 

TXIMERA

Edible Sculpture · Musée Bonnat-Helleu, Bayonne · 2026

Tximera is a Basque fantasy animal — a cat-fox — created as an edible sculpture for the museum. Inspired by Chimère, the fantastical figure who guides visitors through the collection. Her recipe includes cacao processed at the museum's neighbour, Monsieur Txokola Bayonne.

She does not ask to be looked at from a distance. She asks to be tasted.
